Separate the two pieces of the frame (Printed and Motorsport frames are already separated) and attach the larger, upper portion of the surround to the car using screws (screws not supplied).
Slide the number plate into the surround making sure the number plate is as high into the surround as it can go.
Take the lower strip and insert one end underneath the corresponding edge of the frame, then by slightly flexing the strip, insert other edge under the other side and click the three fasteners along the base of the strip into place.
The edges of the surround should all be flush with each other.
Take the bottom strip and insert one end underneath the corresponding edge of the frame, then by slightly flexing the strip, insert the other end under the other side and click the three fasteners along the base into place
The edges of the surround should all be flush with each other.
We are occasionally asked if you can stick your surround onto your car with double sided sticky pads? Well, we only reccommend that you screw the surround on, but we are aware of people using only sticky pads. We believe that the thicker 3mm foam variety of pads were used, and that more pads were used than would normally be used to just stick number plates on to allow for the extra 150g weight of the surround.
